Swapwash is an online platform where one can search, compare and place an order for their laundry. They have a target audience of busy families & business professionals, in mainly large cities. Present-day laundromats are missing the connection with the online market, at a time when people want to pay extra for service & convenience. That’s where Swapwash comes in.
Although from day one Swapwash was a start-up with only two entrepreneurs, they new exactly which target audience they needed to attract. Therefore the overall design identity needed to portray the characteristics of an established brand and conveyed a reliable, customer focused and convenient platform.
In the discovery phase we started with an extensive questionnaire to define the scope of the design project and to really get to know the laundry business. This research proved to be very valuable and resulted in a unique brand positioning of Swapwash.
All research and competition analysis where translated into a moodboard / stylescape which represented swapwash at its best. The dark blue with a touch of soft red makes for a reliable and young looking start-up. The stylescape was used as a visual direction throughout the rest of the process.
